Beautiful day out on Myra, which skiied more like February than November. Mostly clear skies, no wind, with NE ridgetop wind and scattered clouds developing in the early afternoon. NE wind at ridgetop was reverse loading S aspects with thin fresh windslab, but nothing hazardous at the time we were present. Natural activity from during/after the last storm cycle included loose dry and wet (depending on elevation and aspect). No obvious big crowns were seen, though these could eating be buried during later precip. Test slopes to 50 degrees near 1500m didn't budge and skiing on north facing alpine slopes 30-40 degrees showed no signs of instability. Spectacular day in the mountains.
