Blackcomb backcountry

Toured from Blackcomb through guide notch to Spearhead glacier. Rode the glacier (open crevasses but good visibility) and did a sunny lap from Corona notch back to glacier flats. More wind effect on the E lobe of the upper glacier. Return via Corona bowl was shark-infested, beware. Observed a number of skiers pushing into steep, shady, consequential terrain without incident, but we were wary of wind slabs and potentially lurking deeper layers. Storm/wind slabs seemed to be mostly healed. Lots of powder available for transport. Besides avalanches mentioned in pictures, observed wide crown lines at the top of the glacier below Spearhead peak. These did not seem particularly deep and probably released naturally towards the end of the storm.
