Great riding and travel conditions today in the Crowfoot glades zone. Numerous parties out (at least 4 we saw), and every group had some great turns. The mid pack crust was still very supportive and provided great skiing conditions, limiting any shark attacks (none). Enjoyable riding conditions! Lake is frozen with a layer of snow over the top, as we were heading back noticed some deeper pole plants had slushy snow/water. No other signs of instability on the lake (cracking, pooling water).
Winds were picking up and starting to blow some snow around TL and above. No signs of instability (whumphing, cracking, soft slabs, wind crust or wind affect) in open gladed trees (NE aspect). Would expect things to get spicy over the next few days with increased wind and blowing snow along with increased loading from the new snow.
