South facing slopes, lightly gladed slopes at tree-line. Snowpack - Below the surface, the usually reported 50 cm of 'right-side up' snowpack above a supportive Nov crust. The surface - wind affected snow above tree-line, that made for variable skiing. Below tree-line was a 1 cm melt-freeze crust that softened to make spring skiing conditions at about 1400h under the sun. Skiing was good!
