A quick rip up and down the south face of Nak. Snow is pretty sticky up till around 1600m or so. The first couple sections of open slopes off the summit are great turns, and the sun never fully came out, so the good snow is still preserved. A little wind pressed but great turns. Can still have some fun in the mashed potatoes, as you lose elevation.
Some small wet slabs releasing off of steep and short convex features. Seemed to be just the recent 24hr snow, max 5cms on a dense surface below, but not a crust. Encountered a 35-40 degree slope where slough ran fast and easy.
Warm day overall, cloudy, moderate winds on the summit with dense fog.
