Waterworks was soggy - Ice

The day was wet. We debated whether this was plan C or D. Climbs are busy these days. A mix of wet snow and fine drizzle when we got there. Low cloud and damp everything. By lunch the precip had stopped but trees were dripping with melting snow, and the climb was wet in many places. Somewhat able to avoid the worst of the wet ice however a hardshell kinda day. Staying dry on a wet Waterworks was unlikely as is keeping your dry rope out of the wet. (Shock-horror). 🤣 Snowpack was wet and there was some postholing in the existing boot pack. We lead a couple lines and ran laps on a couple variations. Overall it was decent ice and decent pro.
