Quick Observation

N aspects skied well, ridge tops wind affected and SW aspects sun affected. Pockets of excellent snow quality found in shaded, protected zones. Small point releases on or above rock outcrops due to solar warming. Overall snow stability was great with no signs of instability from skier activity.

Weather

Dense cloud cover above 1800m. Moderate ridge winds from the SW. Visibility reduced to 4-5m @ 12pm above 1800m.
