Nak shoulder

Great day on Nak shoulder. Sunny, little wind, excellent quality boot top snow in the alpine. Snow was heavier towards highway.

Our group triggered several sz 1 slides while skiing over a convexity between tree islands. Ran easily in top layer of storm slab from snow in last week. Stopped quickly as angle relented. No step down. Some sympathetic action on adjacent steep slope. Little wind effect. Sun warming. No other signs of instability on route. Skiers not affected.
