Flatiron bowl from needle peak western col

Flatiron bowl as viewed from Needle Peak west col. We did not proceed due to intense direct solar, and rapidly warming temps (9c avg, mid teens in direct sun). The typical cornices where still present. We observed the bowl for the duration of our lunch, surprisingly no natural active avi activity. Nevertheless we retreated to less risky terrain. Snow was awful but the views did not disappoint.
