Quick Observation
We skinned up sunny side of liverwurst ridge, snow surface was heavily wind affected. Plan was to ski into big steep, skin up and ski Hilda’s. North side of ridge appeared to be heavily loaded so decided to ski Norun instead. Norun was also loaded by downslope winds. We found isolated pockets in relatively sheltered glades of 20-40cm deep wind slab, easily triggered by skiers. Changed plans and exited lower in the drainage.
Avalanche Information
Multiple size 1.0 Sc in “sheltered” glades at TL
Weather
Wind direction highly variable, consistently mod - strong
