Steep Creek 1/26-1/27

Rode nice powder on Friday with no signs of instability. It warmed up overnight and throughout the next day, and rained intermittently. The snow became wet and gloppy, making for difficult uphill travel. Around mid-morning we began to see wet loose avalanches, some travelling quite far downslope, happening frequently. One came all the way down to the far side of the lake, burying some ski tracks.
