Skiing around Torpy Mountain today there was up to 10cm of new snow. Prominent terrain features were scoured down to a skiable temperature crust observed as high as 1800m.
Skiing was variable but quite forgiving. Snowpack depth at treeline varies from 100cm to 140cm.
