Great day to get back out to the coq! yay for highway being open again! Beauty day to stretch the legs. Snowpack hard for quick test down about 50cm In subalpine N facing slope. New 3-5cm of snow helped soften things up slightly on top in subalpine. But heading down into the trees was pretty terrible and crusty. Natural size 1-2 avalanches probably about 24-36hrs old seen below flatiron.
