Quick Observation

The surface hoar that formed over last week or two was very reactive today Lots of shooting cracks and surface sluffing of fresh snow. Seen Four separate small natural surface slides on the convex of slopes. Caused a few sluffs with sled sidehilling that were 3-5m wide that ran 250m downhill. Surface hoar is present at all elevations from bottem of burn to alpine and in sheltered trees. Play safe out there.
