Skied a lap up Lazy Boy. While touring we noticed that the facet layer above the Jan 26 rain crust was averaging 1m down. Higher up we noticed multiple convexities had released during the storm, with crowns ranging from 100cm to 120cm. Bed surface was the Jan 26 rain crust. A column test on the crown of one of the avalanches revealed a resistant planar fracture D30 at M15. The facet layer released at H21. PSA that tree well hazards are extremely high right now, ski with a buddy!
