Mt Cheam

Drove to 900m on the Chipmunk FSR. Chains are required. Skin track is set to Spoon Lake. Creek crossing have not froze up, which made the crossings Type 2 fun. Didn’t summit Cheam due to observed wind slaps on NW slopes on Lady Peak on the “summer trail” route, foggy conditions and remaining day light hours. Caution on the ski out with creek crossings (the whole route) and low snow coverage between the 1000m and 900m elevations.
