Quick Observation

Rode Wolverine today. The rain event 24hrs ago exists on all aspects up to 1500M of elevation. The crust is 10mm thick at 1400M of elevation. There is around 50CM of fresh storm snow below the crust, however we observed many signs of unstable snow including small size 1 natural avalanches on steep unsupported terrain. Creek walls were cracking and some small .5 avalanches were initiated and so we rode in the trees and mellower angled terrain until the storm snow settles.
