Waverly Mountain

Skied up Mt Waverley. Between 1300-1700m, snow depth varied from ~30cm in the trees to 85cm, with ~15-25cm of new and wind-dispersed snow over the past 24 hours. We observed some whumpfing, and reactivity in the storm slab. The snow warmed and became heavier throughout the day and at lower elevations. A quick CT and a couple of point observations showed an easy drop/pop @25-30cm below the surface. Snowing heavily, cloudy, and windy throughout saturday, and parts of sunday.
