Good N Facing Snow

Great skiing to be had on the N facing slopes in this bowl. Snow stayed soft all day.
Easy and moderate resistant planar results down 20 and 60 respectively, all 4 finger snow, right at ridge top on the loaded (N) side. The recent storm snow didn't show any signs of instability outside our pit though, with no results to ski cutting on steep rolls, no cracking, no slabby feeling. Sledders also tore up some nearby slopes.
Solar slopes saw numerous loose wet avalanches, point releases building up to size 1.5 and stopping mid or end of track. Old evidence of a slab release at the top of a steep fan under a cliff band, size 2 ish.
Melt freeze crust started to harden as we left in the late afternoon on the solar side of the ridge, just at the surface and most noticeably on steeper slopes.
