The North winds were blowing hard on Pope's col. We found a pocket of reactive wind slab on the lower Moraine which produced a 10m shooting crack. We ascended lookers left which was all wind affected. We found sound better snow on the steeper pitch lookers right and kicked off a 20m by 3m wind slab on a wind lip. The alpine stayed cool with a mix of sun and clouds. The top third of Nareo shoulder was powder and the rest was styrofoam/ poor skiing. Niblock looked good and was untouched.

Snow Conditions
Deep powder, Wind affected.
Weather Conditions
Cloudy, Sunny.
