Great snow in Crowsnest

Spent today up at Window Mountain out of Crowsnest. On the sled in, no new avalanches were observed and we saw quite a lot of terrain with good visibility. The cornices in this area hadn't grown as much as we expected either from the recent warm temps and wind. So we headed up a route that kept us clear of overhead hazards, and found a nice, lower angle shoulder to dig a snow pit in that was the same aspect and elevation as the line we wanted to ski. With no signs of instabilities on the way up and our snow pit returning no significant results; we skied a north facing slope, one at a time (practicing social isolation), and found great skiing!
