PWL still alive!

Lots of snow transport from wind at all ridgelines, enough to cover bootpacks and skin tracks. Solar aspects up to mountaintop got wet/moist.
Observed a ton of natural avalanches which seems to have cleared much of the PWL below 2400m. However, on a steep sheltered NE slope found a firm supportive wind affected 20cm layer on top of a ~15cm layer of huge facets above 2400m!
Going forward I'd be wary of any steep sheltered aspects in high alpine sliding on this PWL; and even if it does slide it'll make for crappy skiing on the bed surface (Like Matier NW face which hasn't slid yet). Best skiing is on the open faces in the lower alpine.
