A short tour behind the sasquatch ski area. The snow pack is sitting around the 3 meter mark when we probed to the ground. The recent days of snowfall have brought wet and dense snow, and the overall snowpack seems quite dense. Temps today were around 0 but snowing for most of the day until about mid afternoon we began to see breaks in the clouds.
Dug a small pit about 1 meter deep, and can see 3 distinct weak layers spread within (all 3 may not be clearly visible im the photo). A couple of hand shear tests gave results around 25-30cms, with moderate resistance.
