Big Blue/Big Y

The clouds cleared out quickly around 1100 and we enjoyed a banger of a day travelling up Big Y and out Big Blue, skiing one of the glacier ramps in the valley along the way. 10 cm of new snow up high with only a skiff of south winds made conditions absolutely awesome. We triggered some small loose-dry slides in new snow, but did not observe any new avalanche activity. It should be a great weekend out there.
