Temp 3 degrees at 900, warming to 6.5 degrees by 1400 at bottom Tbar. Slushy spring conditions.
Observed easy sudden collapse to moderate sudden planar reactivity on the melt/freeze and wind crust layers below the recent storm snow from earlier in March on a 34 degree Westerly slope below treeline. These are still forming cohesive slabs, although they are very saturated, explaining our loose wet issue and slide less easily in shallower terrain. Everything below the February dry spell crust about 100cm down appears to be well consolidated and cohesive.
