Bow summit was pretty good skiing this am. Had to be 30 people there. Booted up dog leg couloir to before where people have been turning around and went down due to a 30-40cm deep slab that was quite easy to pull away with hand shears. I dug into the snow in the middle of the fan before heading up and as expected with a previous slide and lots of tracks there was nothing really of note. I thought there would be more powder in the feature but it seemed maybe wind effected or like it had sluffed a bunch during the storm. Boot packing wasn’t easy, there was a wind slab about 5cm thick but not too concerning. Then higher up it became an issue. We had already booted to the top earlier this season so knew about the firmer snow and didn’t want to risk the 30-40cm slab on top of it. On the ski in there was a release that looked like 15cm popped on an east facing fan climbers right of The Stem. Lots of sluff-like debris (maybe bigger) on that side of the zone, below the face with the usual cornices up high. Around 2 pm the wind picked up and was coming more out of the north / north west. Several other slides noticed on eastish face slopes above Bow Lake
