Thank Yanks!

We went out to Yanks riding area today to assess the the current state of the snowpack. We found wind slabs up high with limited visibility and surface hoar in more sheltered areas. These avalanche problems kept us riding on gentle slopes in the trees. It's hard to predict exactly what tomorrow's warming will do to the snow but we are going to play it very conservative and avoid all avalanche terrain.
