Light north east outflow winds, alpine wind effected foot pen 10cm and sled pen 5 cm. Treeline generally and below treeline powder 15 to 20cm sled pen. Temps probally - 7 to - 12 over course of day and elevation (slight inversion). Quick pit at t-line 1650 m Sw aspect 125cm Hs showed some reverse outflow slab loading with hard resistant compression test x2 about 35cm down failing in the middle of a temp crust (from the inversion?) in faceted melt freeze grains. No results on the Oct basal rain crust. No sign of recent avalanche activity. Hs variable from 70 to 130 depending on wind effect history. Very easy sled travel with just enough powder to edge.
