137 cm of snowpack with 50 cm of fresh powder on top. There is a thin layer of hoar frost on the surface. It is an upside down snowpack. There is a solid base from 62-84 cm down sitting on top of a facet layer that is 10 cm thick, below this the snow is knife hard ice formations from there down to surface. Had resistant planer propogations in the easy to medium areas, first down at 30 cm and then down at 50cm. In the hard range we had sudden planers down at 62 cm and then later down at 84 cm. Lots of snow available for wind loading at slopes. Natural slab avalanches were occurring on south facing slopes. Foot penetration is 65cm CTE6030RP CTM14D50RP CTH22D62SP CTH28D84SP
