Quick report
- Collapsing
- widespread
Collapses where somewhat surprising considering lack of new load and substantial time since last load. Structure was weak and thin though (looked more like mid December than February). Somewhat widespread collapses when skinning off of established track up the Creased Dog Creek road. Had to jump stomp to get them to occur. Became more stubborn as started to climb (two people skinning side-by side getting collapses). No collapses towards top (slab notably harder for pole penetration). Noted an old small avalanche on one of the steep, short rollovers in the woods.

Snowpack
New snow a skiff at parking lot up to a couple inches at base of last pitch to top (slightly more where wind had moved it). Structure was new snow on breakable crust on harder slab on junk (pole penetrated, got more difficult, then broke through).
