Great skiing and skinning conditions in the treeline and alpine. South facing terrain is more supportive and provides better skiing. Found reactive windslab in specific terrain, N-NE facing alpine features. Hard to see in the second photo but lookers left side produced a sz1 while skiing through the choke that extended out of the photo to the next terrain barrier. Crown depth up to 15cm.
Snowpack
Both the surface hoar layer and mid storm facet interface seem to be decomposing and unreactive to skis, but producing planer failures in hand pits where the snow is wind affected. This is consistent at tree line and above, all aspects.
