Quick Observation

We skied Rethel Coulior. Below 1800m the snow is non-existent. At the bottom of the couloir, and the top of the apron there was only ~80cm HS. At least in this location, the bottom 60cm was a well-consolidated supportive crust. The two layers of concern from earlier in the year were bonding well. The top ~15-20 was high-density coastal powder and made for good skiing!
