Calm day after the storm

Short tour to check out lower Fraser Chutes. Temp -10 C, Calm, high overcast. Previous storm over Christmas and Boxing Day brought 30-50 cm and came in warm with strong sustained South wind. Now ridges are scoured and gullies are cross loaded. Obvious wind effect well into the trees. Snow depth at highway elevation is around 140cm. Creek bed is filling in and snow now seems more like the average depth for this time of year.
