Quick Observation
1750m sheltered and gladed East aspect slope. There's one wide suspicious roll on this run and while grouping up on the flat above it we had a woompf that settled and cracked around us. Surprisingly, it remote triggered a steep roll 50+ meters away almost out of sight. 40m long, 50m wide, ~65cm/80cm crown, and the fracture ran another 40m beyond. We didn't investigate the bed surface because of hang fire, but it ran on either the Feb 7 or late January. A pit below gave medium sudden planer compression test results on the mid Feb and also on the Jan 28th. Another small feature later released on the Jan 28th (last photos) but it was a thin rocky area that was especially faceted. This terrain is usually a safe haven in times of elevated hazard but we're seeing some surprising activity.
