35 cm of new snow in the past 24 hours distributed by moderate west winds (gusting to strong at ridgetop) throughout the day. No evidence of natural activity in the region however visibility impacted any significant observations.
35cm of recent HST (storm snow) distributed by west winds throughout the day. Up to 50cm of F to 4F- (low density snow) overlies facets above the February 3rd melt freeze crust. HST was reactive on steeper convexities within the observed area propagating up to 10m in front of skis but not triggering a slab on slope (cracking but no initiation). The midpack is supportive where the February 3rd layer exists. The lower snowpack consists of weaker facets and depth hoar to ground. No reactivity below the Feb 3rd layer and no significant avalanches observed.
