Mellow day checking out conditions - 5-10 cm powder on firm and fairly supportive crust from the road. Decent skiing on descent, generally did not break through the crust. Several smaller wet slides could be seen in the alpine on both sides of the valley. Looked like another party skiied the Grand Daddy today or yesterday.
