Depencier gully

Few cm of powder on top of a firm crust

Triggered a small avalanche on the northern aspect just above the depencier gully. Popped on a ~40 degree slope and slid for 3 metres before stopping. Start zone was roughly 1.5m wide, and 10 inches deep. Slow moving but heavy snow, not powerful or long lasting enough to pull skier into it.
