Gorge 17km

Fun day at the Gorge from 17km parking lot. Most areas had around 10 cm of powder on top of a crust with minimal wind loading at upper elevations. Skied a W aspect early in the day with no signs of instability. Skied two N aspects off of the main ridge with no major signs of instability around noon. Some sloughing and pinwheels were noticed as temperatures rose towards 1300 hr. Skinned around some sun-ravaged S, E, and W aspects at 1400 hr. Lots of tree bombs and roughly 1-inch sun crust were formed. No sun crust on the N aspect on our way out.
