Quick report
Climbed lower casaval ridge between avy gulch and giddy giddy topping out around 9400'. Climbing was easy without crampons on skis or boots in the late morning hours. I dropped in at 1230 to true corn on the SE face. I did not dig but I could not l feel a crust beneath with my hand. Snow down in the gulch was much more variable and harder but soft enough on the correct aspect. Traversed to Broadway and climbed powder bowl topping out and dropping in around 230. Great conditions over there too.
