Quick report
Many skiing parties finding success on this route on Saturday 6/7. Below 10,300ft runnels and sun cups are abundant and the snow is hot and soft, this makes for meh skiing. Between 13,000 and 10,500ft we found some decent snow, with only small penitentes soft enough to not be a concern for skiing. From the summit to 13,000ft the penitentes were slightly larger and a little firmer around 10am (don't drop any later than this). This was not bad skiing, but our split boarder friends began calling it "skiing appreciation day". Prime skiing conditions have definitely passed for this route, but for the less picky spring skier there is still good fun to be had. The best crossover point is currently located around ~11,500ft. When climbing from 12,700 and above look for the boot pack on the climbers right of the chute, this will be the easiest and least sketchy way to ascend. Road to the trailhead still melting out. Almost all parties are starting by skinning up the brewer creek gully starting from the road at exactly 7k ft near a large grey dirt pullout. Snow is continuous up the skin track from here, for now...
