Quick report
A collection of photos from the north and northeast side of the mountain including Whitney, Bolam and Hotlum glaciers. Crevasses and bershrund's are beginning to open up; snow bridges are soft. The Hotlum/Bolam ridge route is still in decent shape. Hotlum/Wintun is also in decent shape, but skiing is not amazing. Dirty sun cups dominate. Continuous snow on some routes can be found above 9-10k feet. The Clear Creek route is fully melted out.
Rockfall noted and could be heard in select areas on the north side. Anywhere there is exposed rock and a steep slope, rockfall is possible!Weather

Snow coverage is fading fast and we have entered into late season conditions. White some routes are still in decent shape, it's that time of year when one should maybe consider doing it next season. Yes, it's still possible to climb, but conditions are not prime. The Clear Creek route is the best late season route. Routes on the north side are not for beginners. Glacier travel (or navigating around glaciers, steep slopes, rockfall and routefinding all required.
