Quick report
Snow surfaces were already soft when I started at Bunny Flat, and it felt hot. Unsure of actual air temperature (probably 60s F) but at some point around 11am my thermometer sitting in the sun said 78F and that felt subjectively correct. On the west side of Sun Bowl (SE aspect, 8300') at 11:30am the snow was starting to lose ski support and my skis would occasionally slide out while sidehilling on a 20 deg slope. The more westerly aspects on top of Green Butte Ridge were much more supportable. I descended a S-SSW aspect of Powder Bowl at 12:30pm. There was about 1" of soft corn on top of a ski supportable base in the upper bowl...slightly overcooked but still excellent skiing. Aggressive ski cuts/turns on a 35 deg slope near the top of the bowl only produced minor sluffing (nothing that gained momentum under its own weight). No signs of wet-loose avalanche in Powder Bowl. Snow was starting to lose supportability in lower Powder Bowl (especially on the more easterly aspects) and felt "surfy". Below about 8000' the snow surface got sticky and slow.
