In sintesi

The snowpack has been stable in all observations, but steep slopes over 35 degrees and any areas of wind-drifted snow should still be approached with caution. Wind loading may exist in isolated pockets, particularly near or just above treeline.

Steady winds over the early part of this week led to areas of wind-drifted snow, which have the potential for wind slabs. No avalanche activity has been reported, but the possibility exists and should be in the back of your mind. Evaluate all terrain at or above treeline with a critical eye, particularly paying attention to any cornices built-up above areas in which you choose to recreate.

Be wary of cornices and other hazards overlooking your recreation area.
