It has been unseasonably warm and this trend continues. Temperatures near treeline have not dropped below freezing for 3 days.
Expect rock fall as warm temperatues loosen up snow holding back rocks wanting to tumble. Climb early, keep your eyes up, and wear a helmet.
If you can find aspects still holding snow, small loose wet point releases or cornice breaks should be on your mind. If you are post-holing in wet snow, it will be best to avoid steep slopes.
