In sintesi

With active winds shifting from N-NE to W-SW today, there still remains a chance of triggering a wind slab avalanche near or above treeline. Be cautious in areas below cliff bands, near gullies, and slopes steeper than 35 degrees. Watch for new snow transport and assess the snow for instabilities.

Winds have been blowing from all aspects of the compass over the last 72 hours, cross-loading slopes and terrain features. Although this problem may be limited to specific locations, many aspects could host it.  It will be easy to move snow in steep protected areas near treeline that hold recently drifted snow.

East aspect near treeline where previous north winds have built cornices and wind lips.
