Quick report

Around 32 degrees and snowing hard on Fuji this morning. About half an inch an hour accumulating on the brims of our hats. Wet snow put our Gore Tex to the test but the 12 inches or so of new snow skied great. The new snow had formed a reactive storm slab that easily slid on the crust underneath by stomping on steep test slopes and road cuts (see picture). Even a light pole whack on a road cut could get a little bit to slide. A couple of road cuts on Fuji and Highway 12 had slid naturally. Skied low angle and enjoyed the good coverage.
