Highlights

Warming temperatures will raise the general avalanche danger from Low in the morning to CONSIDERABLE. Softening of the surface will allow backcountry users to trigger wet slides or release deeper, large dangerous slabs on steep slopes. Natural activity is also possible as the snow pack temperature increases causing snow to drop off ridges or cliffs and start increasingly larger, dangerous slides. Stay out of ravines and narrow valley bottoms today.
