Steep, avalanche prone terrain and cliff areas should be avoided after snow surfaces become soft and unstable.

On Friday skies will be mostly clear. Temperatures will drop into the mid-20s overnight and rise into the 40s and 50s during the day. Northeast winds will be light at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
