Snow warning for 15cm for Yellowhead and Hinton but not Jasper. Uncertain whether system will infiltrate into Jasper's region.

    Moderate W and NW winds are slowly adding load to the slab features which have weak basal crystals. Some whumphing was observed in the Bald Hills possibly failing on surface hoar layer 25cm down. Alpine snowpack depths are variable.

    Soft to hard slabs up to 40cm thick can be found in gullies and lee terrain. The condition is less prevalent at Treeline. Observed a couple of size 2-3 natural avalanches scrubbing to ground in the Icefields on steep alpine features near ridgetops.
