Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE. Unstable slabs to forty inches deep rest on a variety of aspects and are sensitive to human triggers. During the day the hazard will increase first on sunlit aspects then warm temperatures will raise the sensitivity of dangerous slabs on most steep slopes to human triggers. Careful snowpack evaluation, cautious route-finding and conservative decision-making are essential for safe travel in avalanche terrain today.
